Title: Social and sensorimotor cognition: developmental, neurophysiological and clinical approaches.
Summary: Recent years have seen a growing interest for the “social brain”, how it develops in childhood and how it is altered in neurodevelopmental conditions such as autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). The workshop “Social and sensorimotor cognition” aims at clarifying the interactions between social and sensorimotor cognition and the role of these interactions in adults and in development. This workshop will bring together leading local and international experts in psychology, social cognition, sensory-motor cognition and philosophy of mind to present the most current research in their field. This workshop also aims at establishing stronger connections between developmental approaches in the fields of social cognition and sensorimotor processing in the FR3C and the neuroscience community in Marseille.
